  Addshore's suggested way forward from 10 February seems very sensible.
  
  In particular, it would finally allow bots to add the badges to triage 
existing sitelinks-to-redirects, which currently they are not able to easily 
do.  This at the very least should be facilitated.

  @cmadeo hmm, I do think translations are still rolling in on the new text 
"Only proper nouns...etc." but I would expect the rest of the UI to reflect 
French. Can you try testing again on TestFlight build #1800 and add a 
screenshot if you still see English? If your device language is English and the 
article is FR Wikipedia, I would expect most of the UI on this screen (except 
content-specific things like article title) to be in English.

  @Tsevener this is looking good and works well even when both alerts are 
showing. I tested this in French and noticed that the alerts and most of the UI 
was not translated though, not sure if that's due to translations still waiting 
to come in?

  The issue descriptions are generated in the final phase of the knowledge 
extraction modules in the Qurator Curious Facts system. We are talking R code. 
That makes anyone's intervention there quite complicated - unless I do it. My 
suggestion is to let me handle the problem, and the provide a set of examples 
in a separate document and then you can intervene there.
  
  Issue descriptions are problematic because different English auxiliary verbs 
need to be used with different Wikidata properties. E.g. someone **has** 
something vs. someone **is** something and similar. What happens in Curious 
Facts is far from real natural language generation, but the descriptions need 
to be generated somehow. It is simple, but still specific cases have to be 
predicted and handled properly. The system takes care about the proper 
verb-property matches, but I have obviously missed a particular case or two 
that need to be handled in a specific way.
  
  Since knowledge extraction for Curious Facts is quite complicated and always 
imply a lengthy update from the Analytics Cluster, my suggestion is to handle 
the issue in the same run as T277564 
 (take separators into account for 
single value constraints).

  Using Chrome and having the same problem in Wikidata when hovering over "add 
statement". Closing up the "In more languages" panel seems to stop it. Making

  @diego The transition process took almost two months, I think. During the 
transition process the old dashboards pointed clearly to their new 
counterparts...  
  The old proxy is also down and the respective CloudVPS instance is being 
repurposed for other WMDE projects. So there are no old urls anymore, in fact.

  Hello,
  
  the SDC tool currently (since today) does not work for me (using Google 
Chrome).
  
  It does not allow me to select a wikidata object, nor is the wikidata object 
of the wikidata infobox preselected.
  
  Previously (till yesterday) the wikidata object of the wikidata infobox has 
been used as default.

 on the new Streaming Updater, including what specific use cases there are.

TASK DESCRIPTION
  The WikibaseRepo `ItemVocabularyBaseUri` service has the following TODO 
comment:
  
  > We currently use the local repo concept URI here. This should be 
configurable,
  > to e.g. allow 3rd parties to use Wikidata as their vocabulary repo.
  
  We kept this comment while migrating the service to the service container 
(T277576 ), but we’re not sure if it 
still applies. The “local repo concept URI” is almost definitely outdated – the 
code was changed from `$this->getLocalEntitySource()->getConceptBaseUri()` to 
`$this->getEntitySourceDefinitions()->getSourceForEntityType( Item::ENTITY_TYPE 
)->getConceptBaseUri()` in Cleanup repo Item vocab uri parsing & fix federated 
units  
– but does that mean that the TODO can be removed completely, or is there still 
something to be done and it should just be updated?
  
  @WMDE-leszek and @Addshore would probably be the main people who know more 
about this.

  According to https://caniuse.com/css-sticky  `position: sticky` is partially 
supported for Chrome v. 89 and 90 and fully supported for 91-92.
  The latest version I get when I update Chrome is 89, though, so people still 
get the somewhat-supported version of `position: sticky`.
  That might be the cause of the bug, though I don't get why it happens only on 
Vector and not on Timeless for example.

  Since I reported this presumably we can't filter this out and tie it to the 
externalitemsuggestor so is there anything we can request from the toolforge 
service to reduce the logspam here?
  
  One way to do that would be renaming a function with a generalized name e.g. 
`_initMenu =>  _initMenuExternalItemSuggestor`
  
  I'm not sure how to contact people in toolforge, otherwise i'd do this 
myself. The problem with not doing that is if it causes any other errors I'm 
likely to waste your time again.

  That's not an extension. It's a user gadget calling a toolforge service 
(https://tools.wmflabs.org/externalitemsuggester/) maintained by volunteers. I 
have no control over fixing the service nor I can care about these being 
broken. This should not be of wikidata team's concern.

  Side note: this service is not used in Wikibase itself, only in 
WikibaseQualityConstraints and WikibaseLexeme. As far as I can tell from the 
Git history, that’s always been this way, and it’s apparently intentional 
(T206164 ).

TASK DESCRIPTION
  WikibaseClient has three well-known entity sources (available as services in 
the service container):
  
  - `ItemSource`, the source for the `item` entity type
  - `PropertySource`, the source for the `property` entity type
  - `ItemAndPropertySource`, the source whose name matches the 
`itemAndPropertySourceName` setting
  
  This doesn’t really make sense. `ItemAndPropertySource` presupposes that 
items and properties always come from the same entity source, which would make 
the other two sources redundant; but in fact, this is no longer the case, 
especially with #wikibase_-_federated_properties 
. In 
reality (if I understand correctly), `ItemAndPropertySource` is a renamed 
(T258060 ) holdover from a time when 
there was such a thing as //the// repo to which a client was connected. I think 
we should remove it, and instead use the right entity source for each entity 
type everywhere.

  I read the announcement and I am pretty excited about the improvements. The 
query-preview servers do not seem to have the problem that I have reported 
here, but I am not sure right now whether you have reloaded the entities there 
as well.
  
  Until now I have not used query-preview except for some tests, but I will 
have a closer look in the next time.
  
  The production query service seems fine again, at least with respect to the 
reported entities. We can close this ticket from my opinion.
