JOB TITLE: JBoss Administrator
JOB LOCATION:Sacramento, CA
DURATION : 6+ Months Contract
POSITION DESCRIPTION:
Qualifications:
•Must have experienced with Jboss and TomCat
•Minimum five years of UNIX administration/engineering experience, using
Solaris and/or Linux (Redhat, SuSe). Good knowledge of UNIX system
internals.
•Experience in the financial industry or other mission-critical
environment preferred.
•Operational experience with Sun hardware and storage systems.
•Must have volume management software experience (Veritas VxVM and VxFS,
ODS)
•Extensive knowledge of networking protocols such as TCP, RPC, NIS and
NFS.
•Sun Jumpstart with pre-script and post-script experience.
•Web server (Apache), Samba, Mail and DNS.
•Knowledge of SAN and NAS technologies.
•FileNet, WebSphere, ColdFusion experience a plus
•Netbackup and TSM experience a plus
•Strong communication, documentation, teamwork, and
relationship-building skills.
•Flexible hours required. Maintenance and installation work usually
performed outside of regular working hours. Must be willing to carry a pager
24 hours/day
when on call.
