[Zim-wiki] Different behaviour export using gui and command line

2017-04-21 Thread Paulo van Breugel

Hi Jaap,

When exporting a notebook using the GUI, all special characters in
verbatim text and text in code blocks are converted, for example:

> is converted to >

However, when exporting from the command line, special characters like <
and > are exported to the html page as such, i.e., they are not converted.

The first behaviour is most desirable, as it allows one to have any text
shown as intended on a html page, such as programming code.

Is there a way to change how this is done on the command line to match
how it is done when using the GUI?

Best wishes,

Paulo

Re: [Zim-wiki] Different behaviour export using gui and command line

2017-04-21 Thread Jaap Karssenberg
Hi Paulo,

Just ran a quick test, but I do not observe the issue you mention. From
code structure I can also not imagine these two can behave different in
this aspect, they use the same functions to do the actual exporting.

Regards,

Jaap

Hi Gergo,

I have tried opening LinkMap on Zim Manual notebook and it worked
perfectly in my case.

I am running Zim 0.65 on Win10.

Hi all!

If I open the manual, and select View -> Show link map, zim responds
with:
Dot viewer:

Hi Gergo,

In the menu bar select:
  >Edit >Preferences

In the Preferences dialog select the "Interface" tab and
check in the box: "Use custom font". Then click on the button with font
type name just below.

Select the monotype font of your choice, for example, Consolas.

Click OK to finish.

Hi Marcio!

This will change your default font, not your monospace font (I'd like to
use my custom font for Verbatim tag).

[Zim-wiki] ONCE MORE: Windows 7 Professional, 64 Bit: Copy via [Ctrl+c] from Zim not reliable

2017-04-21 Thread Udo Weik

Hello,

I see some activities in the group again. Therefore I want to mention
my old problem once more. Every day I lose many minutes, it's really
annoying:

Windows 7 Professional, 64 Bit: Copy via [Ctrl+c] from Zim not reliable:
I have severe problems with copying content from a Zim page (via [Ctrl+c]) to
another app.
Sometimes it works, sometimes not. Any hints?

See:
https://lists.launchpad.net/zim-wiki/msg03307.html
with answers:
- Brendan Kidwell
- Güven, Ugur Murat
   - me, Udo Weik

Not related to use just the shortcut [Ctrl+c], same problem via the context
menu.

Many thanks for all your efforts
Udo

Re: [Zim-wiki] custom monospace font

2017-04-21 Thread Tunai

Gergo,

You can edit the file style.conf at /home/user/.config/zim.

Look for the tag that sets the monospace formatting. For example, here
I'm setting the foreground color, the font size, and the typeface itself.

[Tag pre]
foreground=#c6cc9d
scale=0.7
family=Linux Libertine Mono O

Cordially,

2017-04-21 Thread Gergely K.
So you can set the font by specifying the family tag? I'll give it a try.
In textview section it's called font. 🤔
