circular to my employer as they are not aware of the income tax
exemption up to certain level for us.

The basic exemption limit and slab rates do not change.
but we get 1lakh 25thousand as additional exemption for severe disability.
previously it was 10 and in the current budget, it got changed to 1250.

Yes, exemption under section 80U is considered while calculating TDS.
