I press alt O and then N, in the dialogue I chose NONE.
But now auto numbering is not coming. I think problem now completely solved.

another way to get this done is:
1. go to the line having the last or unwanted number/bullet.
2. press backspace key once or twice and yu are done.

Hi, When we once activate the number/bullet, if we hit enter, the
number/bullet comes automatically in the next line. If we don't want
the bullet/number in that line, we must repeat the step of giving
backspace or selecting none button as far as MS Word 2003 is
concerned. At the same time, if it is

just do the following if you want to put the numbers manually:
go to format menu by pressing the alt+O and locate the option "bullets and
