Just guessing - but did you wait long enough?
I've seen RMAN operations hang for hours
(up to 5 hours on one occasion) for no
apparent reason after which they suddenly
continued again.

Be patient with my ignorance. The EXCHANGE admin is off this

Or do we just have to fix the basic command file

We are in the process of ordering a Revolution 220 to supplant and

Hi,..
I have a very singular Customer, they install TSM server 5,3 on Linux with
the mistaken time-date, December-3 -2007 having to be March-12-2007, they

Any time later they modify the date-time in correct form and they run the

It shows a percentage utilized as less than 100% when data has been

Might need to set the time forward again and expire the db backups, then set
time correctly and do another db backup.

You are attempting to use an automated schedule.
By definition, that is a background task, with nothing there to
respond to prompts.
As the client manual says:
To start the client scheduler automatically, ensure that the

You should use the same NODENAME.
You don't want to launch these serially in a batch file since
that will not accomplish your desired goal of running these

Try something like this:

START /B TDPEXCC BACKUP SG2
I was asked to visit Copan and evaluate the product for use in a TSM

One word - density. We are not unhappy with our EMC, just need to get a

Richard,
You are correct. I suspected this 'hangng session' was from an
earlier 'export node' I was working the day before. The export process
did not complete. It failed abruptly. I cancelled the process so many
times but no response. I will submit a PMR and ask the IBM guys to see how
