Try Microsoft Office Document Image Writer. It's a free download, and
both Ariel and Odyssey accept the TIFFs.It works through the print
menu. A Only drawback is that color PDFs are converted into B&W TIFFs,
but they retain pretty good quality.

Odyssey or email, and will drop Ariel as soon as the antique it's
currently running on dies, or accidentally smashes to bits on the floor.
