Something small that I'd like to be able to configure is endpoint. I'm not
sure if it's a limitation of OpenH323, but right now when we register to a Gatekeeper, the EP type is shown as terminal I'd like to see that configurable to be a type Gateway as well. It'd

In order to do what you really want to do, you need to
search deeply in the code of H323 and take the time to fixed. Or you
might turn lucky and find people on this forum that has already fixed
this or the other H323 channel driver for asterisk. Which by the way

I am quite far along in the process of rewriting chan_h323. In the past
people have whined about the method of config. If you have problems with
h323.conf the time is now to be heard.
If you have something constructive to say, we can keep this on-list.
Flames will quietly go to /dev/null.

I'm not an expert on the compilation environment you need, but if you
provide the OS you are under (don't say "Linux") and the versions of the gcc
stuff you have, it might help someone else on this list help you.

including libpri and zaptel however when i try and modprobe the modules

Actualy i had downloded Asterisk DEVELOPER Version from the CVS with the
help of SysAdmin. Downloded Zaptel. libpri and asterisk.And placed all the
folders in our linux system /usr/src/ directory.
