I am just wondering - why does it take so long (more than 4-5 minutes) for
Beaglebone Black equipped with Debian to actually power off after issuing
poweroff in the terminal?
Do you experience the same behavior with your BBB?

Hello, I am using the newest Debian 8.8 from weekly builds, found
here: https://rcn-ee.net/rootfs/bb.org/testing/2017-06-11/
I needed it because of the quite new nodejs version.
I am trying to enable DCAN1 Device Tree overlay - I am following the steps
present in these sources:

Hello,
I am wondering how to approach such a problem - I want to be able to run
candump from command line (or its counterpart implemented in any
programming language) from web browser.
How would you implement such a feature? What tools would you use?
Regards,
Peter

that I may need to disconnect the power line coming from the hub. What if
the only cable that goes to the board is the USB plug? How do I do it then?

Dear Community,
I have bought a BBB and now I am going to buy some accesories, eg. USB hub.
I am not sure whether I should get a passive or an active one if I have a
5V, 2.5 A power supply.
Will BBB power the hub sufficiently (with keyboard, mouse and a TP-LINK
wifi dongle)? Or maybe it should
