Try a factory reset of the boom. WOL ought to work after that.

Moving about in the fw menu I saw that boom listed the option to
connectnto both my servers ?
That is weird as the old one is off, this option disappeared after I had

Background , my NIC on my old mobo broke a year ago, so I haven t used
WOL for a while..
Now I'm fiddling with my new server, that has it wol working fine .
To be really sure I connected all my players to the new server and
played music for a while, the play
yum install perl-Time-HiRes was it ,and possibly perl-CGI .
Now it runs, finds players and scans complete without errors .
Note to self: cp does not preserve timestamps by default :-/ new music
is now a mess

To transcode files via download, you just construct a URL like
/music/$id/download.mp3?bitrate=320
The extension provided after "download" determines the desired format,
and the bitrate param is valid for MP3 (a quality param is also
supported). Obviously you will need LAME installed.

of the LMS plugin.
