Continue on Hwy. 5 (also known as Carp Road) past March Road (about 5 km).
Immediately after the bridge over the Carp River, turn right on Rivington
Street.
Take Rivington to the end. The Little Egret is between the street and the river
(i.e.,
Bird is still here as of 7:50pm in great light.
If using Google Maps, type in 192 Rivington Carp and it'll show you exactly
where it is. 192 Rivington is the last house to where the burd can be seen.
People are parking at the turnabout.

If you’re coming up for the Little Egret, the Yellow-crowned Night-Heron
continues to be reported from the Delaney Road area west of Carp off of March
Road. First found on May 23 this individual has been playing hide and seek
since May 25. It was photographed on May 26 along Rocky

The Little Egret was present at 8:00p.m. but flew north over Carp and
disappeared, hopefully only going to a roost site. I’ve put a couple of Ben’s

The Little Egret was still present when I left at 7 p.m.Directions: If
approaching Ottawa from hwy 416 turn west on hwy 417 in Ottawa. Take Hwy. 417
west to the Carp Road exit and go north on Carp Rd. Follow Carp Rd north to the
village of Carp. Just south of Carp, after crossing the Carp Riv

Here are good directions, provided by Gordon Payne. Exit off of 417
(Trans-Canada) at March Rd. (CR 49) and go north-east. Take the 3rd left onto

Currently a Marbled Godwit out from viewing platform. Three Red Knots still
feeding on mudflats as well.

to the north. Viewed from Northwest platform.

My son Ben sent me a photo of an egret feeding along the Carp River in Carp. It
appears to be a LITTLE EGRET. It has two distinct long plumages on it head and
bluish-gray lores. The bird is present right now. Will update.

An ibis that appears to be white faced was at the Giroux pit pond on the north
side of Giroux Rd east of Frank Kenny in the area south of Orleans. The eastern
area of Ottawa. Also 3 red necked Phalarope. One Wilsons and a few peeps. The

We just heard and saw a fish crow calling repeatedly as it flew overhead,
chasing a medium size raptor, in Pinery Provincial Park.
We are at the west end of the camping area along Old Ausable Channel in Pinery
Provincial Park, slightly east of Port Franks, in Lambton County.
