I spent a good part of the day at Rondeau PP and did not refind the
Eurasian Collared-Dove that was found by Jim & Keith Burk yesterday.
A consultation prize was finding an immature Connecticut Warbler about 75
meters south of the first (only?) bench you pass on the South Point Trail.

An eBird report of a Magnificent Frigatebird near Barcoven (east of Presquile
and west of Prince Edward County) just popped up on eBird.

It may be a false alarm, but could be worth having a look up if you are near
the shoreline.
Bird at north end mixed in with double crested and Canada geese. Lighting is
brutal and extremely hot.
Park in Lynde Shores conservation and walk down road to almost the end -
platform on right.

Mike Norton called to report a Cackling Goose seen with Canada Geese off
the south (lakeside) viewing platform on Hall's Road at Cranberry Marsh.
From Toronto, exit Salem Road south then go east on Bailey past Lake
Ridge Road turn right onto the first road (Hall's Road) past Lakeridge.

No Fork-Tailed Flycatcher at the Spit today - Monday - I searched from
11:30am-1:30pm in and around the location reported yesterday and was unable
to re-find the Flycatcher. Others searching said they had not seen it the
two hours previous, either. If anyone else goes searching, please keep the

Just getting the word out about a Magnificent Frigatebird west of Gravenhurst
and south of Parry Sound on the Georgian Bay near the Giant's Tomb island. I
did not see it (unfortunately), but I saw it reported on eBird yesterday. Great
find!
