Hello, I thought I was being clever by defining a custom validation
method called validateUploadedFileExtensions which accepts a couple or
parameters. In my Image model's validation I would then reuse this
method for two rules for a model's field, like this:
'image' => array(

I want to create a form that redirects to a url based on input from
the user.
For example:

Would redirect to domain.com/controller/action/lastname/firstname
There would be no information saved.
I also want to have a select box populated by table
The deny function makes Cake require the user to log in. If you
deleted all cookies and tried to access you should be redirected to
your login page.

authorization (checking the
Another good idea with the rows, but in total I think there are close to 60
selects and more to be added so that's why I used selects. 60 Rows would be
rather larger where currently I have 3 selects in a row so it cuts down on
the height.

Hi,
How much do you know about MVC pattern? How much have you worked with a MVC
framework? And how much do you know about Web development? If you know Rails
it will be easier to pick up Cake. :)

Ok, thanks. I can now deny some acces, following this article

I have had a similar experience where emails are generally sent perfectly, but
are not received by staff who work for the client company (those who share the
same email address domain as the address used to send the emails). I know they
are sent because I am bcc'd, but they don't get them. It se

in my case it always sets the field to empty in the database
what you are doing is exactly what happens if you use edit and empty a
field.

Those search criteria are saved in the session, and the data is
