I checked the Dryden Lake area later yesterday afternoon.  The lake is still frozen; the walking trail looks rough with slushy snow.  As an alternative to looking over an expanse of water (Cayuga Lake), one could stop along Purvis Rd. and gaze over an almost unlimited expanse of cow poop.  Both
