I had the same problem on a dev machine. The install wizard did not run
after installation (see link below). I don't remember if this helped,
because I got a new machine 1 week later and made a fresh install. I
only use access for teaching CF classes.

I don't use Access for anything heavy-duty, but I do have several
dsn's set up on my dev boxes and servers. I just automatically
started using the Access/Unicode driver when it came out in MX under
the theory Unicode=Good. Have never noticed any difference and as

I have been having this problem for months. I was told the Unicode driver
would solve it but apparently the Unicode driver has a problem with some
sub-queryies.
So if you find a fix for this please post it.

There is an additional service for the access sequence driver and it is
apparently not running. Check the services cpl.
