I’ve just joined the list, and may have missed any
prior advice so please forgive any redundancy.
I am in need of a good carpenter who can help me restore/repair my
windows. I’m trying to avoid
replacements and preserve the originals.

It does not make me feel good to think this way, but some of us, myself
included, may have to lower our threshold on what constitutes a
suspicious situation that should be called in to 911.
As you say though, it is fortunate that nobody was hurt and that what
was taken can be replaced.
I hate to report this, but add to that list the break in at my house. Someone
cut the screen of our front window, climbed in, came into our kitchen and took
a wallet, two cell phones and our house and car keys. Our next door neighbor

Unarmed Robbery—3117 St. Paul St.—On June 30th
at 2:36 AM, a non-affiliate reports an unknown male approached him demanding
his wallet. The un
