Hi
If your routers are connected by Switches
You need to check if your switch allows jumbo frames
Increasing the layer 3 packet sizes on the routers does not make it
automatically right for Layer2

Perhaps the Multi protocol
Is in regards to the fact that it can support multiple routing contexts
(one per vrf)

HI
What are your concerns?
The IGP used on the net you want to deploy MPLS is only used for the
MPLS control plane.
The MPLS data plane will not look at Layer3 destination IP addresses
only to labels.

Hi
Just do the binary calculus
0.0.254.255 is . . 1110 .
apply that to your prefix 172.168.1.0
the first two bytes (172 and 168) will have to match
and the last bit of the 3rd byte needs to be 1
so that would be 172.168.1 .3 .5 .7 .8

Hi
You can use the 'terminal length 0' (priviledges mode) to remove
pausing form a 'sho run'
And you can use the 'sho tech page' command
to get a paged version of it (if terminal length is not 0)
So you can have it any way you like it

I am not THE expert on these matters but it comes to play in my daily
duties
SIP is more flexible then H323 and H323 is a suite of protocols for real
time traffic, SIP is far more suitable when looking at unified messaging
Have a look at SMTP and then look at SIP ... you'll see some resemblance
You have a mail loop degrading your performance ;-)

1)Can anyone explain to me the concept of the routing bit when using
superbackbone OSPF
What loops are prevented this way?

2)does anyone have examples of native cell mode MPLS using ls1010

What if you reduce clockrate and ping both local interface and remote
interface And measure the latency.
If the local ping takes twice the time as the remote ping then

Hi
ADSL (assym Digital subscriber line) is used to deliver high rate data
over ordinary phonelines. A new modulation technique called DMT Discrete
multitone allows the hight speed
ADSL facilitates the simultaneous use of normal phones ervisces ISDN and
high speed transmissions
ADSL can also run
