At the end of the daylight, I went back to Lake Loveland and thanks to John
Vanderpoel and David Wade, co firmed a lesser black backed gull easily seen
from the parking lot off Taft with the gang of ring billed and some herring
gulls.

Birders,
A Red-tailed Hawk is picking off birds at my feeders! Normally, a Cooper’s
Hawk that lives in my neighborhood is responsible for bird deaths at my
feeders.
The hawk sits on my house or high in a neighbor’s cottonwood tree and
watches the feeders in both my front and back yards. The Coop
