No big changes with kernel 2.4.22-10mdk, the only thing I noticed in the changelog
is that the speedtouch module has been disabled, I hope this changes before mdk

Installing Xfree 75dpi fonts solved the problem, but I think this package should
go in with KDE or X or something, because I never had to install it manually before.

I did a proper install, and I got a irq routing error, that also prevented the
sound driver from working. I turned acpi off, and this solved the irq error, so
now dmesg
