I have setup a multi node cluster as one machine("master" in this case)
which acts as master as well as slave and other machine("slave") as slave
I'm getting following error while executing the command:
[EMAIL PROTECTED] bin/hadoop namenode
[EMAIL PROTECTED] hadoop-0.18.0]$ bin/hadoop namenode

I have configured my machine as Pseudo-Distributed :
I'm getting this error : *STARTUP_MSG: host =
java.net.UnknownHostException: hadoop: hadoop
but i have given the host name as *"Hadoop-host" *in /etc/hosts *

I'm trying to install Fedora8 as a Guest OS in XEN on CentOS5.2 -64 bit.
Always getting " failed to Mount directory" error. I configured NFS share,
then also
installation getting failed in middle..
Any IDEA !!!
