I have the same issue since I upgraded my machine a couple of months
ago. After this upgrade the logout and shutdown windows stopped being
centered in the middle of the screen, and the screen doesn't get
dimmed any more when the shutdown window is activated.

I have this problem since I upgraded to mail-notification
mail-notification-evolution version 4.1.dfsg.1-4.
With mail-notification running and Evolution not running I get Unable
to contact Evolution. This used to work before.
