I'm experiencing the same problem with two different versions of sylpheed.

I can't reproduce this is 4.2.2. Can you test that version and let me
know?
I can still reproduce it with that version. Simply create a directory
and a file in it, select both, hit the delete key, and confirm the
deletion.

is set, and you quit SciTE with an unsaved file, it still asks if I want

Sorry, I just discovered that there is a glitch with the "MIDI Thru" option:
Whenever I load a file, it is silently re-enabled, but the menu item stays
unchecked. I need to check and uncheck it to turn MIDI Thru off again.

Thanks for the replies. I just found the option "MIDI Thru Routing" in
Composition/Studio, which was turned on (by default probably?).
I had only looked in the Settings menu.
