Hi Daniel, I did some testing. It seems to me that is related to running aptitude in a Virtual Console of the linux box, because I cannot reproduce it in a terminal inside an X session. That time back gdm was to be upgraded, so I ran aptitude in a console instead of X. It works fine if no pac
