Funny enough, no I'm not.
I'm pretty sure that I would have had librsvg2-2 last time I
tried, but now the problem is gone.

It looks as if the SVG loader (package librsvg2-common) might not be
installed on your system. The Debian package for Shotwell should
probably depend on librsvg2-common, but currently does no
2 matches
