Hi,
I tried to reproduce the issue but I could not so far.
What I did is:
I added unreachable DNS server address to my /etc/resolv.conf, before
2 entries of working DNS servers.
Then I ran aria2c with 2 configurations: --async-dns=true and --async-dns=false.
In both cases, aria2c first tried false
Package: aria2
Severity: normal
Aria2 only uses the first dns server in /etc/resolv.conf, if the one
fails then aria2c cannot resolve domain names so the download process
cannot start.
