Yes. Usually just shy of a minute, sometimes over five. Load has shot up to

libdrm-radeon1 2.4.21-1~squeeze3
xserver-xorg-core2:1.7.7-11
I'm not sure I did this right.
I installed xserver-xorg-core-dbg, libdrm-radeon1-dbg,
xserver-xorg-video-radeon-dbg.
I have the same issue but with vlc and on Squeeze (xdg-utils
1.0.2+cvs20100307-2) which has the same version of the xdg-screensaver
script.
Strange thing is, after running 'gnome-screensaver --poke' once in the
terminal while vlc is playing the movie seems to cause xdg-screensaver
to work

There are no errors in the log file (unlike the previous one). The PDF
is not completely blank - there is some noise at the bottom. Did you
scan a blank sheet of paper?

Thanks Geoff,
I've never dealt with a patch. Can you tell me (or send a bash script)
exactly what to do. I'm assuming that I save the patch attachment, scp
it to the laptop /root directory as martian.diff (unless you say
something else). Then what?
Thanks,
Doug.

Just a reminder of this bug. It's an easy fix, already posted, but there's not

Hi,
I had the same delay issue when resuming, and fixed it as suggested: by
installing firmware-realtek. However, the driver don't actually need

only issue without the firmware is this resume-time delay (~60s for me).
So, as
