Porting Xconfigurator to Debian!

Hi, I plan to port Xconfigurator from Redhat to Debian, if that will help debian to be more simple in installation. I have search in Internet, if some did that, or there is another tools already work on debian, but I have not found any! If you know one. That mean there is no need to port this p
