I've seen this problem as well; I don't remember what module it was, but
try commenting out all modules from the php.ini and enabling them one by
one if it's not the php-imap module.

s the most used Webserver in the world, there must be some
good opensource libs/tools there for it's configuration file. Some
CPAN modules handle httpd.conf but those still require me to write
a lot for just parsing the file.
