The problem seems to affect several colour effects, not only menues, eg.
select icons on the desktop get miscoloured as well.
This is also independent of the nVidia driver as it happens on my machines
second head, driven my a Matrox Millennium II by XFree's mga driver, as well.

i just ran fireflier-client-kde and rather than having the
username of the AutoLogin user, it has root instead (because
ff-c uses unistd.h's getlogin() function which returns the
name of the logged in user)
also, i am running SE/Linux and i have had to use a patched
CVS commit by mornfall:
- final release fixes (summaryview, dist-upgrade)
- cvs2cl changelog
- update TODO (postponing few 0.2 goals to 0.3)
- write some NEWS
- the bug mentioned in README was fixed i believe => removed
- fix the compile failures in testsuite

I've some trouble with kmail (from sarge 1.6.2) regarding the number of
unread messages in some Folder where list-mails were put to. When I start
KMail it tells me, that the number of unread messages is two (for instance).

Hi!
Since the update to kdelibs 3.2.3 my transparent menus show funky colour
combinations. Looks funky but not as I am used to from all previous
packages and it makes the menus often somewhat hard to read. ;)
