Ctrl-S when composing an email just closes the window, instead of triggering
the Save As.. function.

I still see this with current Testing, but now I sometimes have
the same problem with X11 too. So I guess it is likely that this
is not a Plasma problem but rather a kernel one.

Apologies if I am not reporting this for the correct package.
I try the following steps:
1) Reboot my laptop (ThinkPad X1 Yoga) with external monitor plugged in.
The external monitor works as expected.
2) At the SDDM prompt, log into
I (apparently) solved the problem by updating a few plasma packages to 5.19,
in particular
plasma-workspace
plasma-desktop
(and possibly one or two more). They are still at 5.17 in unstable.

I'm seeing the same thin even with libkscreenlocker5 5.19.5-2 from experimental.
The locked screen is completely black, and wiggling the mouse shows the cursor
but nothing else.
My workaround to unlocking the session is to switch to a TTY shell by
ctrl-shift-2,
and using 'loginctl
Thanks for asking. In fact, the problem disappeared automatically
during some Qt update (sorry, I don't know which one).
So the bug can be fixed.

I am trying the Plasma Wayland desktop. I can start krunner by pressing Alt+F2.
However, no matter which one of my four virtual desktops I start it from, it

I'm using a Lenovo ThinkPad Yoga 2, which has a touch screen and a stylus.
The stylus triggers Qt tablet events.
Trying to fix a problem in Okular [0], I noticed that the QApplication class
does not receive the events

(provides krarc qt plugin), Dolphin opens the .odt file using the krarc plugin
instead of Writer.

that plasma ever worked for me.

I updated my system and tried again. dragonplayer does play my
DVDs now if it is started from the KDE device manager. When
started from the console the behavior is unchanged: clicking on
the 'Play CD/DVD' button doesn't appear to do anything.
