I don't know of any cd-bootable distribution for SPARC (you can put one together yourself, though I suspect this isn't the answer you're looking for :) ). However, many (most/all?) SPARC systems support booting from the network as well. At one point, I had a SPARC5 booting NetBSD over the network

I used to run a Sparc Classic as my Firewall/Router. Recently, the hard disk died. I am wondering if anyone has any pointer to diskless Sparc Firewall/Router. Most of the Linux Firewall/Router projects expect your hardware to be Intel. Just wondering if such thing exist on the Sparc platform.
