Your problem is most likely that you haven't properly configured mplayer
for PulseAudio. I don't know

I installed Debian sid into my Sun-ultra10...
"alsamixer" looks good, but inserting headphones in rear audio-connectors
I do not hear anything...
I have to do somethings into openboot or hardware audio-connectors?
