(it was different in the previous version...). This does not seem to me
like a good idea, a set of "recommended plugins" (as in the description)

A little update.
I have been testing Fedora rawhide and noticed that their "nodoka" gtk
engine (originally based on murrine, I believe) uses the same fix as I
posted in this bug for Ubuntulooks and Murrine (originally found by
Andrea Cimitan). The issue with GtkEntry boxes is more complicated and
Matt Ziegelbaum tells me he can report this bug on a fresh new account
in a Hardy system, also.

gtk-vnc 0.3.5 fixes this bug, along with other one related to wrong
colors (bug #212504).
What I mean in my previous comment is: If you are going to update gtk-

Cardy's (#38 above) solution works for me in Gutsy.
I am observing the same behaviour as noted above:
- Setting "Super is mapped to the Win-keys (default)" in Keyboard Preferences
causes

Thanks for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu
better. We appreciate the difficulties you are facing, but this appears
to be a "regular" (non-security) bug. I have unmarked it as a security
issue since this bug does not show evidence of allowing attackers to
cross privile
I should also add that the file worked in KPDF just fine.
As for attaching the file, I'll try and make a file that does the same
thing-- the file I tested is copyrighted (and I'm not in the financial
situation to get sued)

Will the patch make it to Gutsy's repositories? Or some other solution?
It's weird to close a bug with a "workaround" of this sort... And it's a
shame that after half a year it's still present, I've spent too much
time figuring this out after a flawless fresh install on my HP 6510b.
