Hi
The restore file was on an SD card
path /media/FC30-3DA9/evolution2/evolution-backup.tar.gz
As with other users I have found that by moving the restore file to my
home directory it works fine. This is less convenient but fine once you
know how.

The problem is not the deleted log with Index 0 (conform to release note
to Ubuntu 9.10 it is a new feature not to begin with index 0 and change
to rsyslog tool). How may I get that the system does not look after such
a log file with Index 0 with the new rsyslog.

Marcus, its the first patch I've ever had to do, hence why I wasn't sure on the
correct formatting etc.
Upon running it, I get this:

Not surprising really. After all, Evince is a document viewer, not an
image viewer.
Just right-click on the image in the original PDF and select "Save Image
As..." I didn't specify an extension and ended up with a PNG file.

I have the same problem in Kubuntu. Some month ago, the effect appeared
only temporarily. But now the trash bin shows permanently the icon for
"trash bucket is full" (even though there are no files in there).

Neil, not sure what you mean - but all the code in the patch is necessary. I
just tried the patch against the latest 2.29.1 release and it seems to apply
nicely (I cannot test to compile it atm).
