After the last update (today) I am no longer able to remap Caps Lock to
Ctrl. I tried to set XKBOPTIONS in /etc/default/keyboard but that only
seems to work for a few brief seconds. The same happens if I invoke
"setxkbmap -option ctrl:nocaps" on the console. It works for a few
As an update, all that's needed is to remove a panel applet from the
panel. I don't think creating a new panel has any influence.

This is happening in Karmic, too. I had to change X-GNOME-AutoRestart to
false in /usr/share/applications/nautilus.desktop. Should I report
another bug or change this report in any way?
