[Bug 1679226] [NEW] gedit consumes 100% of cpu when left minimised

Public bug reported: When left minimised, gedit on ubuntu takes up 30 to 50% of CPU. When I maximise it to use it again, the CPU usage drops to zero. I tried purging and reinstalling gedit many times. But it doesn't help. The issue starts a few seconds after opening gedit. But the issue is so seri
