Unfortunately I do not understand sip very well so it is kinda not clear for me
why ekiga does not work all of a sudden.
Please, note, that I can no more connect to my ekiga account (right after the

Finally, I was I able to successfully set up a voipcheap account again
with ekiga. I had to deinstall my linphone* package though about which
I am not sure if that was the culprit.
