I thought I wrote an answer. sorry for this mistake (maybe I sent it via
mail).
Yes, the problem still exist. I have found something else out:
restored gnome-terminal windows didn't blink, after I logged in. But
when I switch the workspace they start to blink.
No, I didn't use any fancy Compiz/x
Marking as "Rejected" - bug has been in "Needs info" for almost four
months with no additional feedback. Toyed with "Fix released" based on
various comments, decided "Rejected" better matched workflow.

those are the current versions in dapper please make sure you have your
repos enabled and run sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get dist-upgrade.
the new version should have fixed that issue.

log in to gnome later again all windows of supported apps will be
reopened. e.g. browser windows, IM-app, gnome-terminal windows, abiword
(unfortunetaly just with a new file instead of the document when I
