Hi,
I join several screen-shots showing differences between each version.
I found a solution with gnome-alsamixer for analogue headset I can tune
playback microphone (for monitoring) but it's not available with USB sound
card or headset as you can see in the screen-shot.

could you take a screenshot showing the issue? here the input and output
tabs have combo boxes to select the channel to use
