But there is just too much stuff to be done between the initial background
color and the actual background image is drawn.

I have a disk that is reporting SMART problems. This is resulting in
many popups warning me of "Hard Disk Problems Detected". see attached
screen shot.
I am very greatful for the message, but I only need to to tell me once

Unsubscribing ubuntu-sponsors, we're past the time that we can do this
pre-release as alacarte is on the Xubuntu and Edubuntu images. This
change needs to be coordinated with Debian. If could ask for SRU team

When playing an MP3 that has embedded cover art, the visualisation
appears. However, once or twice a second (roughly) the cover art flicks
up for about a frame.
This doesn't detract from the playing, it's just quite distracting.

maximazed, but full screen. I'm using Unity-2D+metacity, with composite
support is switched on. The terminal window is semi-transparent. Now, if
