Its a quick guess. I didn't debug it (objective C is beyond me). EDS has gone
through lots of changes during 3.5.x & 3.7.x. During 3.4-3.6 cycle gnome-panel
was maintained by Gnome, hence 'mbarnes' provided a patch (http://is.gd/YKT61Q)
