Initial code push

2016-01-27 Thread Markus Geiß
Hey all, hope this finds you well. Finally we are able to push the code over. How should we proceed with this? 1) Add an additional upstream to a local clone, pull the branch and merge into master, 2) Copy all files over manually and do a initial push, 3) other ways? Best, Markus .::YAGNI li

Incubation and GSOC

2016-01-15 Thread Markus Geiß
Hey all, hope this finds you well. ; o) In the past, Mifos has attended GSOC as part of our outreach work for the platform. Since we are in incubation now (Apache Fineract), I'm wondering how we will deal with this in the future. Is the IPMC supporting GSOC, is it the responsibility of the pro

Use of TM and a Powered by Logo

2015-12-26 Thread Markus Geiß
Hey Mentors, hope this finds you well. : o) I have a few questions. ; o) When should we start to use TM behind our brand, and when is it allowed to provide a Powered by Apache logo? I guess we need to be TPL, right? Best, Markus .::YAGNI likes a DRY KISS::.

Hey Roman, I've tried to fetch your changes, but given that the asf-site branch triggers the web site, I only can fetch it if I'm at the master branch. Fetching it into asf-site gives a non-bare error. When I fetch it into master using git fetch github pull/1/head:asf-site it pulls your changes

Hey all, hope this finds you well. : o) Once we've settled on the GitHub process and branching model, we can use some entries from our current wiki to kick start the new Apache Fineract wiki. Our current process can be found here: https://mifosforge.jira.com/wiki/display/MDZ I think the pages

Fineract Status Template

Hey all, hope this finds you well. ; o) On our status template site (http://incubator.apache.org/projects/fineract.html) the URL for the website content points to an unavailable SVN repository, https://svn.apache.org/repos/asf/incubator/fineract. I guess the correct entry would be the Git rep
