IMO it's time to cut a new bugfix release as there are a lot of fixes
in our queue. As you maybe already have noticed I already merged all
1.8.4 related fixes to the branch, so that it'll be less to do when
cutting the release.
I'm planning to cut the release in round about 2 weeks from now.

I've updated the patch file to v2 which fixes the issues with the file
I had overlooked some char string commands, I’ve now added them and the file
from PDFBOX-1019 now renders beautifully.
I will update my patch once JIRA starts working again...
