crossover and wine-* are orthogonal to PoL (and Lutris) which are
game/instance managers. crossover has its own managemen
I can recommend Lutris, it's really good and I think somebody is working
on flatpak version for it.

Reason is: It's python 2 only, it won't be migrated by upstream and
there will not be any python 2 on Fed
