Would like to see the ability for Slimserver/Squeezecenter to do an
automatic "find and replace" on imported playlists.
I generate playlists on one computer then upload them to a shared
drive. On first computer path may be Z:\Artist\Album\... but on the SS
computer the path would be F:\Music\Art

Somewhere in archives of this forum are photos of an SB installation in
an outdoor gazebo-type thing with hot tub. The "waterproof remote" was a
standard SB remote in a ziplock bag.

Based on your "review" I've just added this to my Christmas list. The
Sangean seems to vary in price a lot in the States (a cursory search

All of the music on my SS was ripped with ITunes. At the time I did not
care about album art. Is it possible to download or somehow acquire it
now or did it have to be done in the down load process?
Thanks

Hi, Off topic but this forum has been always a good place to discuss

I want to choose between the 525 and 555 remotes and found that the

I searched for previous posts but couldn't find an answer.
I have been successfully running Win XP with 3 SB3's for over a year
and now none of them work. When the connection process gets to
connecting to my fixed server address, the display goes blank. By the
way, one of them is wired.

This is a weird one. Lately, when I search using either basic or
advanced search on the web interface, SlimServer stops running. I have
to restart the server, which runs fine until the next search.
Anyone else see this?
I'm using SlimServer 6.5b2.

Well, to these ears the Roberts WM-201 sounds pretty good. It has two
decent-sized full range drivers in a solid, bass-ported cabinet. I
would say that it's at least the equal of a Tivoli Model One.
The Reciva-based internet radio functionality is in many respects

I just destroyed my remote in frustration, my SB experience has gotten

What version of SlimServer?
What OS are you using?
Try doing a full re-scan. I seem to remember a bug where the first scan
produced problems with album art, subsequent scans were OK though. I
can't remember when this was fixed though.

This is pure guess. I had same experience recently. The source of the
problem was that I clicked on SqueezeNetwork on the Home page under
Internet Radio just to see what it was. It took me to a login page
where I stopped. Thereafter, I could not get Squeezebox to work. I

Here the required logfile. I hope thats the right one. Due to the fact
that I'm a greenhorn in configuring slimserver it took me nearly 2
hours to get that thing. Now I'm familar with that (hope so).
If you have a look at the logfile,

What browser is that? IE7?
I've seen IE6 get really confused with it's cache of shortcut icons.
IE7 has been pretty consistant for me so far though.
You could try fluching your cache and deleting all offine content.
I wouldn't worry about it though :)

You mean something better than using the web-browser on a tablet to

Plus there's already Moose and the OrangeCD music catalogue has a

I was wondering whether anyone else would think it could make sense to

As great as the SB remote is, it would be great to browse album art and
such things on a remote device that has better graphics capabilities.
