I've also looked at a few Android apps and found SqueezeCommander to be
well worth the small price.
Rather similar to iPeng, which is no bad thing.

Yes, the controller will work with your SB3 and any other Squeezeboxen
you might have.
(or use your laptop, or use iPeng on your iPod...)

Inspired by Marth, I checked / refreshed the system time on my Ubuntu
server which runs Squeezecenter; (it looks like it wasn't being updated
correctly)
And this seems to have resolved the issue immediately; my SB2 + Boom
now sync perfectly.
Thanks for the help all.

Just want to mention that I am experiencing the same sync issue as the
OP.
Trying to sync my SB2 with my new Boom; I found the SB2 was approx 5
seconds behind the Boom. So watching this thread with interest.

Yes you can. Both can control the same SB at the same time.
(and you can use the Web interface, and iPeng, and, and...)

>> How to do the new scan? Starting SB and ?
On your Mac, under Slimserver (or Squeezecenter) settings; you will
find an option to Clear and Rescan the music library.

discu
nk it into an
acronym, combining a relevant number:
For example:
You have two cats called Tiddles and Cuddles which were born in 2002
= TidCud02
Your friends called John and Stacy who live at number 98
= John98Stacy
[I don't have any cats... or any friends... at #98 :-) ]
I have an SBR which is surplus to requirements. In London, UK.
PM me if this would help anyone out.

For what it's worth, in the UK www.advancedmp3players.co.uk are stating
they expect stock of individual Controllers on 24 April.
I'm waiting patiently...
