I just started testing 1.2.3 then 1.2.4 this week, I was too busy
earlier in the year to look at 1.2 at all. So far so good except I
noticed newly granted permissions via ACL on some newly created public
mailboxes were not visible by the client. It seemed to be a version
thing because the sam

Hello Dovecot users,
I finally managed to make new releases of Sieve and ManageSieve for the
recent Dovecot v1.2.4 release. The ManageSieve release is important to
match login proxy API changes in Dovecot; older versions will not
compile against the new Dovecot release. The new Sieve release f

Yes,
But how do I do that and does that inflict all users on the server (only a part
of the users use imap). there are about 200 pop users on the mail server and
only 50 of them need imap.

Hi,
I am really stuck here. I am trying to setup imap for an external mail server.
I have a freebsd server running sendmail / dovecot. I am transfering the
existing mail from an exchange 2003 server to the mailserver using imapsync.
This works fine, but gives errors when it tries to make a subm

Hi all,
I'm a newbie to Dovecot. I'm trying to get Dovecot working under HP-UX
(IA64, 11.23). There are problems compiling it with the HP-provided gcc
(and with my own compiled one for that matter), but it compiles OK with
aCC (with the AC99 flag set).
Hi Dimitrios,
I use (and like) this:

The LDA is not listed in the protocols setting, because it will never
and could never accept a network connection.
There is also no listen/ssl_listen setting for the protocol lda {…}
section.
