Dear Mr. Kaiser,
I got called away to deal with some unforeseen problems, and was not able to
even look at this problem until late tonight. In the meantime, Andrzej posted
a fix that seems to have it working now.
I really appreciate your willingness to help. If you need me to apply your

Hello Timo,
You are correct, and I just got this all sorted out earlier today. As to
format, it was the standard unix mbox format. As to what I was renaming, I
have a subdir in my mail folder area for maillists, that procmail feeds
into, with a separate file for each list (like this one),

director, but I'm having some troubles.

the user receive a mail or only when the dovecot starts?

I've just replaced our ancient (10-year old) mail server running
Sendmail/UW-IMAP on Solaris with Postfix/Dovecot 2.1.10 running on Linux
on new hardware. I opted to go with virtual users and I didn't want to
create system accounts and I might end up hosting another department's
mail as well.
Hi all,
Does anyone have an idea what could cause the below error?
