Saw a article in FISTS news letter about mods for a K1, Changing USB to LSB,
Does any one have comments if this works and why do it ??.
Mod is remove RFC1 and jumper it, then realign BFO

I have a kit for KFL1-2 for 80 and 40 Meter for K-1.
I need some one to build this for me or trade plus cash for their already
build board.

I received a new 2 band ( 80 and 40M) board for my K1 and a NB.
The Saga starts:
I needed my eyes examined, I'm 64, and I have a lot of change in my lenses
prescriptions, plus have beginning of cataracts in left eye, which is my good
eye. Great to get old, LOL

Sort of a abstract question from a newbi..has any one gone through the K1 or
KX1 compomet by componet and asked if this is the best
capacitor/coil/resistor/crystal/transistor (with in the same price range) to
optimize the transceivers ?? I mean run the numbers and such ??

I purchased a K1 some time ago on Ebay and it works fine. It has 2 Filter
Boards and the antenna tuner.
