I notice that most K2 builders refer to their radio with a four digit number,
apparently a serial number. Where is this number located on the radio?

I may have answered my own question by going back through the first part of the
manual. It emphatically says to not use any solvents at risk of voiding the
warranty, I have read before though that cold solder joints can result from
dirty circuit boards. Any thoughts? Thanks. HH

Is it necessary to clean the K2 circuit boards, say with alcohol, before
soldering?
